Friend or Foe: How Important Is Your Friends’ Approval When Dating someone new?

It’s a fact of life that we want our friends to like who we are dating. In many cases, as in mine, your friends know you better than you know yourself. It is for this reason, I value my friends’ opinions. So, when they don’t like someone I’m dating, it makes me question; Am I missing a key sign that this person is not right for me? What are they seeing that I’m missing?
